In science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) sectors women are drastically outnumbered, making up just 34% of the workforce, according to research from STEM Women. These gaps are present in some of the highest-paying jobs of the future, such as computer and mathematical occupational groups, which are projected to experience much faster employment growth than average.
