HORSHAM, Pa., Feb. 26, 2019 — The 2019 Recruiting Trends & Talent Tech LIVE! Conference today revealed the winners of the first-ever Recruiting Trends & Talent Tech Awards.
The awards competition recognized talent acquisition teams and solution providers, along with key industry influencers. Judging the event were conference chair Elaine Orler; Tim Sackett, SCP, SPHR, President, HRU Technical Resources; Carmen Hudson, Principal Consultant at Recruiting Toolbox and Co-Founder of Talent42; and Erin Spencer, Senior Research Analyst.
Announced on February 21, 2019, at a dedicated ceremony during the Recruiting Trends and Talent Tech LIVE! Conference at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, winners in the “Outstanding Talent Acquisition Team of the Year” category included Cisco, the world’s largest vendor of hardware and software for networking, for large to enterprise organizations, and Memorial Health Systems, a leading healthcare organization in Illinois, for small to medium-sized organizations. For the “Talent Solution Impact Award,” Paradox, creators of the artificial intelligence (AI) assistant for recruiting called Olivia, took home the top prize.
Orler commented, “At a time when competition for talent is at an all-time high, the winning talent acquisition teams, Cisco and Memorial Health System, have competitively differentiated their resources and practices to excel at recruiting. Our solution provider winner, Paradox, received the highest recognition from their customers on the value and positive impact they bring to the talent acquisition process. With so many innovative companies in this space, judging these awards was exceptionally difficult, and we applaud the efforts of our winners as well as each of the finalists.”
The program also honored Gerry Crispin for his contributions as a “Recruiting Influencer.”
“Gerry calls himself as a lifelong student of talent acquisition, but for those of us in the space, he’s also one of our best teachers and thinkers and a true leader. He prides himself on facilitating a conversation, making connections and seeing the industry evolve,” added Orler.
