If you haven’t heard of ChatGPT by now you may be living under a rock. The AI based chat tool which is a game changer for content creation, knowledge seekers and creativity has gotten a lot of press in the past few weeks since its launch.
The tool is a natural language chatbot that knows everything that Google knows up to 2021. They have yet to add 2022 web indexing to the database so it does not contain current events or data.
What’s cool about ChatGPT is that it can answer queries and write stories just like a human can. And since the API for it is open sourced, any kind of software company can plug in into its own platform and leverage its AI capabilities for a variety of purposes.
In the coming year or two we are going to see this technology creep into your HR tech stack. I’ll bet every vendor out there is already looking how to integrate it.
I asked ChatGPT to tell me how it might influence the recruiting industry. Here’s what it told me;

It’s not the most creative job ad…sounds a bit derivative of what’s commonly used already among TA professionals. But the tool should evolve over time and get better. At the very least it’s a place to start your creative writing process and almost every industry stands to benefit from this exciting new technology.
