In a recent report by the International Labour Organization (ILO), a specialized agency of the United Nations, a joint study found that jobs traditionally held by women were significantly more likely to be impacted with the rise of automation via artificial intelligence (AI). The study found that jobs at a higher risk for automation were currently held by women employees at a rate of 9.6% while the same number was only 3.5% among men employees.
