May Job Openings and Hires Unchanged; Total Separations Change Little

The number of job openings was unchanged at 7.6 million in May, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Over the month, the number of hires was unchanged at 5.2 million, while the number of separations changed little at 5.1 million. Within separations, the rate of quits was unchanged
