Monster’s Job Scam Report finds candidates are routinely encountering suspicious offers across email, text, recruiter outreach, and job platforms, making trust a bigger part of the hiring process. That’s a major issue for candidates, but it also creates a growing challenge for legitimate employers and recruiters.

In this report, 95% of job seekers have encountered at least one suspicious job offer, while 98% say today’s job market makes candidates more vulnerable to scams. More than half of job seekers say they have been directly affected by a job scam attempt.
