At the recent Talent Tech Labs Transatlantic Trade Mission we heard from Ian Bailie, a Senior Director in People Operations at Cisco. The first part of his keynote centered around social media and how they rolled it out to employees to drive the brand.
We wanted it to feel like it was coming from the employees.
We gave out our Snapchat account to an employee each day. It worked.
Thats the thing with social recruiting it has to be authentic…..it drove engagement. We’ve seen great tractions. It doesn’t necessarily mean we made a thousand hires over the last year…It’s about brand. And its as important for our employees as it is for people outside Cisco.
Its driving internal employee engagement as well as helping our talent brand.
