Glassdoor Unveils 2025 Best-Led Companies List

Glassdoor, the worldwide leader for worklife conversations and career insights, today announced its annual list of the 50 Best-Led Companies 2025 across the United States. This award spotlights companies with exceptional senior leadership teams that are redefining the employee experience through transparency, authenticity, and vision. Unlike other workplace awards, Glassdoor’s list is based on insights provided voluntarily and anonymously by employees through a company review on Glassdoor.

This year’s award comes at a pivotal moment for the workforce. Glassdoor data shows that nearly 2 in 3 workers are feeling stuck in their careers, with declining confidence in growth opportunities.1 As workers navigate increased uncertainty in the job market, there’s never been a more critical time to recognize organizations that are leading with empathy, clarity, and purpose.

“At its foundation, leadership is about trust,” said Glassdoor’s Chief Economist, Daniel Zhao. “At a time when many workers are questioning their path forward, strong leadership can make all the difference. The companies on this list are showing that when leaders communicate clearly, prioritize people, and stay grounded in the company’s mission, employees notice – and stay. We’re proud to recognize these standout companies as examples of what great leadership looks like in today’s world of work.“

The top ten Best-Led Companies 2025 are:

  1. NVIDIA
  2. In-N-Out Burger
  3. MathWorks
  4. Crew Carwash
  5. Keller Williams
  6. Milwaukee Tool
  7. EPAM Systems
  8. Methodist Health System
  9. Synchrony
  10. ServiceNow

Glassdoor’s 50 Best-Led Companies 2025 spans multiple industries, with technology companies dominating the list more than ever before. This year, 22 winners are from the information technology sector, including NVIDIA (#1), MathWorks (#2), ServiceNow (#10), and Netflix (#20). Manufacturing also saw a notable increase in representation, with five companies making the list, while the remaining winners come from a diverse mix of industries, including financial services, healthcare, and retail & wholesale. It’s also worth noting that nearly half of the companies were also recognized as Glassdoor’s 2025 Best Places to Work earlier this year.

“It’s no coincidence that nearly half of this year’s Best Led Companies were also named among Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work,” said Owen Humphries, President at Glassdoor. “In a time when business pressures are intensifying and employees are wrestling with fear and anxiety, leaders are facing tough realities. These 50 companies are successfully navigating these tensions to maintain employee trust, create opportunities for growth and attract and retain top talent.”

Southern states are emerging as key hubs for standout leadership. We’re seeing more winners headquartered in Texas metro areas such as Dallas, Houston, and Austin, reflecting the region’s growing influence. Examples include Methodist Health System (#8) in Dallas and H E B (#40) in Austin. Still, the Bay Area remains a leading hub, with 9 companies on the list, including NVIDIA (#1), Databricks (#41), and Adobe (#50).

When providing a company review, employees are asked to rate several factors tied to their employment experience. These include rating sentiment around their CEO’s job performance as well as around senior management, among other factors. Specifically, when rating their CEO on Glassdoor, employees are able to choose from one of three options: approve, disapprove or no opinion of the CEO. Employees are also asked to share some of the best reasons to work for the company (pros), any downsides (cons), and are encouraged to provide advice to management. Additionally, the Best-Led Companies algorithm leveraged Review Intelligence™, a Glassdoor sentiment analysis tool that reads, analyzes, and categorizes reviews to surface topics, insights, and trends to score company reviews that mention “senior leadership” topics.

Glassdoor award winners for the Best-Led Companies 2025 are determined using Glassdoor’s proprietary awards algorithm, and each leadership approval rating was determined based on the quantity, quality, and consistency of Glassdoor-approved company reviews submitted by U.S.-based employees between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025. During the year-long eligibility period, companies considered for the list must have more than 1,000 employees and receive at least 75 ratings across the two leadership attributes (CEO job performance and senior management).
