Being a consultant doesn’t tempt many recruiters to email me these days but yesterday I received the following email from a third party recruiter about a job.

The job itself wasn’t even close to right for me but the subject line caught me eye. It got me to open it. I took out the recruiter’s name but here is what he wrote.

This is a well written email template. It uses my name (three times) and does a good job of selling the role and company. I’m not sure why he thought I’d be a great Machine Learning Engineer. But it’s definitely something you can all learn from.
