- Recruitment platform Clustree raises $7.9M Series A led by Creandum with participation from Idinvest Partners and Alven Capital; the France-based startup offers an AI-powered service that matches job seekers to recruiters; raised more than $11.5M to date. [LINK]
- PayPal Founders Back Kalo (Formerly Lystable). An ex-Googler Gets Backing of Silicon Valley Investors Thiel, Levchin to Build ‘the World’s Most Badass Recruitment Engine’. Pete Johnston, formerly a Google designer, aims to change that with the newly renamed Kalo. Johnston believes his startup is better able to tackle the unique concerns of the freelance labor market than LinkedIn. [LINK]
