Indeed Launches JobSpotter App to Highlight Help Wanted Window Signs

Indeed is innovating. They just announced a new mobile app called JobSpotter on their blog today.

The app, available for Android only at the moment (iOS is on the way) is designed to highlight those help wanted signs you see in store windows.

It’s a crowdsourcing app which encourages users to upload help wanted pics. In exchange they get points towards monetary gift cards.

Incentivizing them with money is a clever idea. The results of these uploads end up on Indeed.com in results with a picture and a map of where it was taken. The only way to find them is by typing in “Help Wanted” in the keyword search box. Like this example for a Dollar Tree in Buffalo.
