iHire Launches Job Ad Writing Course

Job board company iHire has launched a self-paced online course designed to help employers master the art and science of job ad writing. Now open for enrollment, iHire’s Build Better Job AdsMasterclass provides step-by-step guidance from videos, articles, and downloadable resources while sharing time-saving tips, templates, and examples of job postings that attract the right candidates.

Presented by Lori Cole, iHire Certified Career Coach and recruiting expert, this course will walk participants through the keys to a winning job ad – from the title to call-to-action and everything in between – and demonstrate how to:

  • “Sell” their position to potential hires
  • Convey their unique employer brand and company culture
  • Ensure their ad’s language is inclusive and supports their diversity goals
  • Optimize their job ad for search engines and mobile devices 
  • And more

“Your job ad is often the first impression candidates get of your company, so it can make all the difference in hiring qualified talent. However, only half of employers believe their job ads are effective,” said Cole. “We’ve created this course to take the guesswork out of writing a job posting that attracts the right hires, gets you more applicants, and helps you reach your hiring goals faster.” 

Participants who finish the course will earn a Certificate of Completion for two SHRM/HRCI recertification credits.
