Hilke’s book, which reads like a novel, makes the case that technology in the world of hiring is often a very good thing, including some of the new uses of artificial intelligence. But that doesn’t mean that all products are well-designed. Some are based on nothing more than pseudoscience, despite the claims from the vendors saying otherwise.
