Last week I headed to NYC after work to attend a new kind of HR event. It’s calledDisruptHR and features speakers who talk for just 5 minutes each, TED style. Intermixed into the evening were networking breaks where 100+ HR pros mingled and chatted.

I have to say it was a great event, not your typical networking night. The 5 minute talks kept it lively and fresh. Kudos to Jennifer McClure and her cohorts for coming up with a fresh new take on HR events.
