While prepping for a panel discussion about candidate and hiring manager experience, one of the TA leader panelists said – “I don’t need to survey my candidates; I know exactly what needs attention.”

What’s true about this is that most TA teams should know what needs attention and what’s working in their recruiting and hiring from pre-application to onboarding. I’d argue they should still survey their candidates (including employees – internal candidates) and benchmark their candidate experience against other employers,
