Job Openings Drop Again, Ending a Miserable Year For the U.S. Job Market On an Appropriately Sour Note

We’ll be posting our U.S. job vacancy data for December at the end of the week along with our Non-Farm Payroll forecast for December and some commentary on the job market, but for now, below is our final batch of weekly job openings data for the U.S.

Last week, U.S. job openings indexed daily from company and employer websites globally dropped another 2.6% from the prior week and ended the year down 11.1%.

As background, LinkUp only indexes jobs directly from company and employer websites around the world. We do not scrape job board data or job openings from any 3rd parties
