Cannabis Recruiting Agency HempStaff, Announces East Coast Cannabis Job Training Courses

HempStaff, a leader in recruiting for employees in the cannabis and hemp industries for nearly five years that has trained over 6,600 students in 20 states, has announced the locations for the Cannabis Training for Dispensaries East Coast tour. At each location, two fast-paced four-hour training courses will be held at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. ET. Ticket prices are $249 online or $300 at the door.

HempStaff’s East Coast Professional Training Course 2019 tour locations include:

  • Baltimore, Maryland – Feb. 9
  • Cleveland, Ohio – Feb. 23
  • Newark, New Jersey – March 9
  • Boston, Massachusetts – March 24
  • Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – May 4

On average, a cannabis business owner receives over 200 resumes for each job opening that is posted. The HempStaff Cannabis Training for Dispensaries tour helps ensure applicants who attend the course are able to stand out from others when applying for a position. HempStaff is able to do so by supplying attendees with the knowledge, skills and the potential for an official certification at these training courses.

At each tour location, HempStaff will be educating and training attendees on how to prepare for a job at a medical cannabis dispensary. The course is expertly tailored to each location to ensure state-specific laws are taught. Several dozen dispensary owners, nationwide, have taken the course, and each agrees that they would look for a HempStaff-trained employee when interviewing for an entry-level job and some have adopted a policy to only hire those with a HempStaff Certification.

“Along with providing valuable information on rules and regulations, HempStaff provides each student with a resume template to get them started and post-class, resume reviews,” said HempStaff Vice President, Rosie Yagielo. “The professional training class reviews cannabinoids, terpenes, cannabis product descriptions, dosing recommendations and state regulations. The information we are providing will help people get ahead of their peers, and ideally, land the dispensary job they have been after.”

HempStaff understands that the industry’s laws are constantly changing, especially in the early months of a program. To help combat this, HempStaff offers attendees the opportunity to return to any future training session, free of charge, to re-educate themselves. This helps ensure all HempStaff trainees are up-to-date on laws for their state. The complimentary return even applies to classes in other states.

“Relocation is part of everyday life,” added Rosie. “Should a student find themselves in a new state that has an upcoming training class, they may request a ticket for that class as well. HempStaff’s goal is to continue providing updated material for each and every one of our students.”

“Our ultimate goal with the HempStaff Cannabis Training for Dispensaries tour is to help attendees better understand the industry, medication and the laws in their state,” said HempStaff CEO James Yagielo. “If you attend, not only will you gain valuable knowledge in the industry, but this is also a way for an individual to boost their resume. We believe the information our attendees receive will help them feel confident and skilled in their future interviews.”
