There’s a lot of debate about whether or not to use the #opentowork hashtag and green profile circle as a job seeker.  You can find some of it here and here.  Exactly HOW a job seeker actively or passively uses this feature will make or break their job search.  If you ARE a job seeker, take note of the points made in the debate.

If you are a Recruiter or someone who just wants to help others get back to work, here’s a way to hone in on those who are (wisely or unwisely) marketing themselves as active job seekers.  Add key words specific to any industry or role.  Or feel free to use Irina’s CSE (Custom Search Engine).
