Neuvoo Gaining Ground as Global Job Aggregator

If you are hiring and looking for alternatives in the aggregator world, Neuvoo wants to talk. The Montreal based company led by founders Lucas Martinez, Maxime Droux and Benjamin Philion has quietly become a significant player in the job aggregation space.

Martinez told me by email that Neuvoo (pronounced new-vo) has grown 300% year over year to 25 million visitors worldwide. Of that number, 6 million comes from the US which is its fastest growing market according to stats provider Similarweb. The site now supports 65 countries and 22 languages.

Job aggregators everywhere were put on notice last year by the new Google Jobs initiative. How will you compete with them I asked bluntly. “We have to keep innovating”, said Lucas. Indeed they have (pun intended).

Neuvoo has added several features in the past year to beef up its core offering. In addition to a salary calculator they also offer job seekers some unique data points and content to aid their search including;

I asked what else is in the works. They are starting to roll out an AI solution to extract emails to apply on job descriptions. Basically, a candidate is not going to have to send an email to apply if the job description has an email. Instead Neuvoo will just host the application process and send the email directly to the employer. (something that indeed.com already does).

Lucas adds, “We are going to take this to the next step and actually index application process’ from ATS and host it on neuvoo”. Candidates will will fill in the forms on our site and we will forward the application into ATS.

“This is going to allow three things. First, all ATS will become mobile friendly through neuvoo, second, candidates will not have to leave our platform to apply and third we will be able to compile candidate answers to predict the answers on their next applications and therefore dramatically decrease time to apply.”

They are also working on different candidate profile tools that he could not reveal to me yet.

So with all the other aggregators out there I wanted to know how they position themselves with employers. Martinez responded;

“We represent a very strong alternative to indeed.com specifically for US companies that have needs abroad with a model that varies between cost per click and cost per applicant at a very attractive Cost per Hire. In addition, We don’t use human operated spiders to attract contact but it’s an AI assisted technology that collects our jobs. It allows us to go where no where no one goes and attract very original content throughout the planet.”
