At this years HR Technology Conference, Diversity and Inclusion was a big theme among attendees and vendors alike. The proof lies in the fact that both Blendoor and Talvista made the top six startups in the pitchfest and that Talvista emerged the winner.
Add to that list a number of vendors like Greenhouse, Entelo and Hiretual incorporating diversity filters into their products and you can tell this is a growing segment of HR tech. So I did a little digging and came up with a number of tools and sites that will help you diversify your workforce.
Let’s start with some basic tools to help you manage and attract followed by some more traditional sites.
THE DIVERSITY DASHBOARD
This is a cloud based project management tool that helps you keep track on your D&I initiatives. LINK

They optimize job descriptions, provide data points from redacted resume reviews, and structured interview evaluations to fulfill your company’s diversity and inclusion mission while hiring the most skilled and qualified candidates to do the job. LINK
TAP RECRUIT
Work as a team to write job descriptions that are proven to attract more qualified and diverse candidate pools. LINK
TEXTIO
This tool helps you write unbiased job postings. It works by sifting through the content of your job postings and recommends edits based on what kind of language is going to appeal — or scare away — certain demographics. LINK
ROIKOI
This is a employee referral tool. They claim by rolling it out within your existing underrepresented minority groups, will naturally generate a pipeline of incredible, diverse candidates ready to fill any new role you have. Be even more inclusive under your Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) by favoring underrepresented groups in instances of ties in ROIKOI Score. LINK
BLENDOOR
This is a new job marketplace that teams up with diversity organizations from African Americans to Latinos and Gay & Lesbian groups. According to their site: “Blendoor is hiring technology that reduces unconscious bias by hiding data that’s not relevant and highlighting data that is.” LINK

A job board specifically for candidates who have a criminal record. Launched last year. LINK

PRO DIVERSITY JOBS
Another national board touting 1.5 million users. “Our mission is to provide diverse communities with a trusted professional network, which pairs members with employers who are serious about building a diverse workforce to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse customer base.” LINK
