I didn’t go to the Employer Branding Strategies Conference happening this week in SD. But my HR pals Audra Knight and Erin Stevens did. So I followed the conference hashtag stream and pulled out some good tweets that will make you better at recruiting. You can actually learn from a conference tweet stream.
As for these two, well I’ll just leave this right here, lol.
This first tweet caught my eye because it is exactly why I created Rejobify.com to help employers give back to those they can’t hire.
Instead of rejecting candidates, redirect them to communities or ways they can become a better candidate. <— LOVE THIS @LindseySanford #ebrandcon pic.twitter.com/O2OGszom45

Employers need to reduce the time to apply for candidates.

Employees just want to be loved. Is that so hard?
Amazing things happen when you put the users first. Even greater things happen when you put employees first. #EBrandCon #employerbrand

Your jobs are not being seen internally!
65% of #employees say it's easier to search for a #job outside of their company than inside of it. (I BELIEVE IT!) @JoshZywien #EBrandCon pic.twitter.com/c275OgvCae

This one is my favorite. Why are we still requiring job seekers to create logins? They are just barriers to applies!
Why are we still requiring people to create a freaking login to apply!!!!?? @JoshZywien #EBrandCon pic.twitter.com/MOVnK2s6Tj
