The hospitality industry was hit hard hard by Covid-19 but has started to rebound. Just take a look at this graph from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

You can see the steep rebound above but it has not quite returned to normal. Part of that could certainly be the great resignation and the fact that hotels and restaurants just have a smaller pool of talent to recruit from.
