HireVue Launches Pre-Built Assessments

SALT LAKE CITYOct. 10, 2018 — HireVue, provider of the most comprehensive AI-driven talent assessment suite and video interviewing solutions, today announced the addition of HireVue Pre-Built Assessments to its market-leading HireVue Assessments platform.

Delivered to candidates on demand, HireVue Pre-Built Assessments are tailored to specific job roles and competencies. Each includes a combination of video questions, game-based challenges and — for technical job roles — coding challenges. For candidates, the experience is faster and more engaging than with traditional or other game-based pre-hire assessment approaches. When used at the beginning of the hiring process, on-demand interviews and AI-driven assessments enable talent acquisition teams to quickly identify and focus on the best candidates, replacing legacy screening methods.

Building on HireVue’s experience with more than eight million on-demand interviews, the assessments are scientifically validated and ready for implementation without the lengthy job analyses, validation studies or extensive data-gathering efforts required with legacy assessments.

HireVue’s  expanded assessments suite — the most comprehensive AI-driven assessments platform in the industry —  combines the power and freedom of on-demand video interviews with the predictive power of validated assessments in one solution, dramatically reducing deployment time.

“Since the introduction of our AI-driven HireVue Assessments, we’ve been focused on expanding the capabilities of the platform by adding game-based cognitive assessments to our proven video-based assessments,” said Kevin Parker, Chairman and CEO at HireVue. “By significantly lowering the barriers to entry and delivering scientifically validated assessments that can be implemented quickly, we’re making powerful hiring predictions available to more companies globally.”

HireVue Pre-Built Assessments models are designed to measure specific cognitive abilities and job-related competencies for particular job types. The first Pre-Built Assessments to be released include three cognitive skills tests and four job-specific assessments:

HireVue expects to continue adding to its library of Pre-Built Assessments over the next year.

“HireVue is leading the market in offering scientifically-driven assessments that are easier for both recruiters and candidates, and evaluate a broader set of characteristics and competencies,” said Madeline Laurano, Chief Research Officer at Aptitude Research Partners. “Recruiting organizations are looking for more comprehensive predictive assessments with faster implementation, so their integration into recruiting platforms is of high importance.”

Game-based assessment technology is the latest addition to HireVue’s robust AI-driven assessment suite following the company’s acquisition of game-based assessments leader MindX earlier this year. These short and engaging game-based challenges evaluate cognitive traits, including:
