Salesforce’s Plan to Get Employees Back into the Office. The Right Call or Emotional Manipulation?

In the absense of mandates, Salesforce is hoping a more charitable option will prod employees to come back to the office.

Every time an employee comes into the office between June 12 and 23, the tech giant will give $10 per employee to a local charity. The goal is $1 million.

Giving to charity is great, and I support companies’ doing so. Getting employees involved in fundraising can be a great team-building exercise and good for those around you. And that seems like the stated goal.
