According to research by Equilar, in fiscal year 2019, the 50 highest-paid HR executives at Russell 3000 companies received an average annual compensation package of nearly $4.3 million, up from $3.6 million the year before. That 17.8% increase marks the third year in a row that HR executive compensation grew; it increased by 11.6% in 2018 and 7.8% the year before.
