At some point, you could find yourself hiring in a crisis such as a:

PandemicEconomic recessionPolitical or social unrestNatural disasterSome other unexpected disruption to the marketplace, your industry or your individual company

When a crisis happens, it’s less often an isolated, short-term event. Typically, one crisis spurs other crises, which gives the experience a lengthier, episodic quality and complicates the conditions in which you recruit candidates.
