FTSE100 CEOs earn 109 times more than average worker

The pandemic caused economic strain for many businesses and their employees. As a result, CEO pay dropped in 2020. Research by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) found that FTSE100 CEO pay dropped 9% to £2.9 million in 2019. Nearly 45% faced a salary freeze; down from 52% in 2019, according to PwC.
