Fridababy LLC, a seven-year-old marketer of products for babies and new moms, plans to air a commercial during the Golden Globes on NBC this Sunday that shows women tackling common challenges in breast-feeding and pumping as well as the complicated emotions that many feel after giving birth.
The ad, for a new line of postpartum breast-care products under the Friday Mom brand, also shows parts of the women’s breasts. It is unusual for network TV to accept commercials with any hint of nudity or certain subjects that some consider difficult.
