What’s In a Name?

It’s important to name your account properly. When it comes to employers stick to appending words like jobs or careers at the end of your username. Seems simple but thats what job seekers expect to see. Avoid using special characters like _underscores whenever possible.

Here are some typical naming schemes to use;

  • @[company name]jobs
  • @[company name]careers
  • @lifeat[company name]
  • @[company name]works
  • @[company name]jobs

If you are a solo/third party recruiter give your username some context on what you recruit for. Brand is everything. Examples include;

@MNheadhunter

@ecommercejobs

@smheadhunter

@DCITrecruiter

@GreenRecruiter8
