Three in five disabled UK employees experience workplace bias

Three in five (60%) UK employees with a disability have experienced bias in the workplace, in comparison to just 35% of those without a disability, reveals research from Badenoch & Clark – part of The Adecco Group UK&I.

Worryingly, the report, ‘Inspiring Inclusion in the Workplace’, also found that two thirds of those with a mental disability (65%), and 45% of those with a physical disability believe that their organisation does not offer an inclusive environment.

Unsurprisingly then, the research further revealed that around half (48%) of disabled candidates have either left a job or not
