Job market hot, but new grad salaried virtually flat, Korn Ferry says

The job market is hot, but salaries for new college grads are virtually flat this year, according to a survey by Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY). Grads’ average salary rose 2.8% this year to $50,390, but that flat when inflation is taken into account.

Los Angeles-based Korn Ferry research 310,000 entry-level positions from 1,000 organizations across the US to determine the salary figure.

The survey also looked at average salaries for new grads by 10 major cities:
