InfoMart Preemptively Discontinues Salary Verification as Pay Equity Legislation Expands

Atlanta, GA – November 16, 2017 – InfoMart, a leading provider of global identity and background screening, has restricted employers from the ability to request salary verifications in response to pay equity legislation. New York City was the ninth jurisdiction to enact laws that prohibit the request and confirmation of income history, joining such states as Massachusetts and California in their goal of equalizing the employment arena with pay equity regulations.
