The economy has bounced back from the recession, and staffing companies have benefited. But it is now companies that are trying to convince job-seekers to work for them. “We’re courting candidates rather than sourcing candidates,” Chris Weiss, executive director of regional operations for the Northeast at Aerotek, told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper in a story about the staffing industry’s bounce-back from the great recession.
