Supplemental Health Care was awarded a three-year contract to provide nurse staffing to the Buffalo Public School system in Buffalo, NY, the company announced today. The agreement goes into effect in July.
The deal was valued at almost $5.6 million in the first year, almost $5.8 million in the second and almost $6.0 million in the third, according to school board documents. The contract called for the company to provide two full-time equivalents of nurse supervisors, 58 full-time equivalents of registered nurses and 20 full-time equivalents of licensed practical nurses.
Supplemental has more than 200 full-time employees in its Buffalo regional headquarters.
